    Special Meeting on

    Heritage Designation

Our neighbourhood - Sherbourne to Parliament, Carlton to Shuter - has been nominated to be a Heritage Conservation District.

Do you understand all the implications of that for your property?  What you will be allowed to do?  What restrictions and requirements there will be for you?

The City has re-written the rules about how HCDs are created and managed, so you can’t assume that our District Plan would be the same as the other Cabbagetown HCDs.  The fellow who wrote the new regulations will join us for a special meeting.  He will do a short presentation, then take questions from the floor.

Don’t guess what this will mean for you.  Don’t depend on assumptions.

Ask your questions and learn the facts.

Wednesday, June 5th, Central Neighbourhood House, 349 Ontario Street, 7 pm

PLEASE, PASS THIS MESSAGE ON TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS;  WE DON'T HAVE EVERYONE'S EMAIL ADDRESS.  THANKS!

Come and insist your questions be answered.
